New Home, Same Tina!

I’ve got some exciting news to share! On September 22nd, I officially joined Red Door Realty as my new brokerage home!

After five incredible years with Engel & Völkers Nova Scotia, I want to take a moment to express my deepest thanks. I began my real estate career under the mentorship of Chris Harding, whose guidance, support, and high standards helped shape me into the Realtor I am today. I’ll always be grateful to the EV family for the opportunity to learn, grow, and serve so many wonderful clients.

The Next Chapter

That said, I’m thrilled to step into this new chapter with Red Door Realty!

This locally owned and operated brokerage has a strong reputation across Nova Scotia, with a dedicated team of 45 agents serving communities throughout HRM, the South Shore, and Cape Breton.

Their values of integrity, collaboration, and community are felt in every interaction, and I’ve already experienced the warm, authentic culture that makes Red Door such a special place to be.

From my very first day, I could feel the pride and energy that comes with being part of a tight-knit, community-focused team. It’s a space where agents are empowered to do what they do best: build strong relationships, advocate for clients, and serve the community as a team.

I’ll be working out of both of Red Door’s HRM offices, but as a proud Dartmouth girl, I’m especially excited to settle into the Dartmouth location at Paddler’s Cove, right on Lake Banook. (Yes, I’m already picturing lake walks, mid-day coffees from Cottage Café next door, and welcoming clients to the new space.)

I’ll also be spending time in Red Door’s Halifax office, located just steps from the Public Gardens. It’s a perfect home base for meeting clients downtown, hosting market info sessions, and staying active in the local business and nonprofit community.

What does this mean for you?

If you’re a current client, nothing changes but the sign on the door. You’ll still get the same care, creativity, and strategic guidance you’ve always known from me. If anything, this change gives me more freedom and flexibility to expand my offerings, tap into fresh tools and marketing resources, and connect with even more of our local community.

If we haven’t worked together yet, now’s a great time to reach out. I’ve been quietly building a suite of new resources behind the scenes, like my updated website, guides for buyers and sellers, and a monthly newsletter full of local insights and helpful tips.

Whether you're looking to sell, buy, or just stay informed, I’m here to make the process approachable, informed, and empowering. This is a team effort, and I’m your teammate from day one.

I’ll also be continuing my community work and charitable efforts, especially fundraising for the BMO Ride for Cancer and supporting Special Olympics Nova Scotia as a longtime coach and advocate. Red Door’s support gives me even more room to align my business with the causes I care most about.

Tina 2.0 is here.

This move marks the beginning of a new era, one where I get to carve my own path, connect with more clients face-to-face, and grow a business that truly reflects who I am and what I value.

To my clients, colleagues, and community, thank you. I’m grateful for your trust and support, and I can’t wait to see where this new chapter leads.

With gratitude and big energy,

Tina Prinsenberg
